Sanne and Svend Brodersen bought Gram Slot in 2007, after it had been empty for 25 years. Since then, they have created a versatile business that includes events such as concerts, parties, courses and conferences as well as a large organic farm.

Agriculture, livestock and arable land…

Gram Castle's agriculture is continuously developing with cattle farming and arable land, where a multitude of different crops are grown such as island wheat, spelt, onions, potatoes and other vegetables. All products, produced on Gram Slot's organic farm, can be bought in REMA 1000's stores across the country.

The book "Afterthoughts"

"Eftertanker", written by Sanne Brodersen, is a thoughtful book that, based on the small incidents of everyday life, focuses sharply on the big things in life. The book contains a number of short, life-wise texts, which contain humour, life wisdom and quirky angles on life's small everyday miracles. Each individual story is taken from everyday life at Gram Castle, where Sanne Brodersen lives with his family. Afterthoughts gives an insight into Sanne Brodersen's way of seeing and understanding the world - often with the odd angle and humor as a guiding star. At the same time, it is an invitation to believe that it is never too late to enjoy the greatness of life in the small things.
The book is illustrated with watercolors by the self-taught 20-year-old draftsman and illustrator, Natasja Cartey, who discovered her talent during a serious cancer illness.
